     Ans. Silver Article come in 999, 990, 970, 926, 835, 800 Purity. Other purity do exist in market but not authorised by government like 700, 680 whereas Silver Jewellery comes in 999, 925, 835, 800 & 680. Other purity of Silver jewellery do exist like 660, 600, 485 but not authorised  by government.


  2. Why 999 & 925 Silver tarnish ?
    Ans. Silver reacts with Moisture in air which is usually the primary sources of tarnishing. Sterling silver (92.5% silver + 7.5% copper) tarnishes faster than pure silver (99.9%) because the added copper is highly reactive to sulfur and moisture. Other factors could be High Humidity, Pollution, Household Items especially Perfumes, Some Sulfur-rich foods can cause rapid tarnishing.
